Silver Cup Coffee
Lynnwood, WA
About the vendor:
Silver Cup Coffee’s goal is simple: to provide award-winning coffee.
Instead of bragging about the superiority of their coffee and using pretentious language no one understands to describe their blends, they feel that if you try their coffee, you will enjoy it. It's as simple as that.
AWARDS
Gordon Bowker, Starbucks original co-founder, and Tom O'Keefe, Tully's Coffee chairman, chose Silver Cup Coffee as the "Best Cup" two years running in the McCormick & Schmick Cup competition.

A GOOD DARK ROAST COFFEE. (on Queen City Coffee Bl...)
matterrm | matterrm | Fri, 10/21/2011A good dark roast coffee. Very enjoyable on a cool fall afternoon. Not bitter and very smooth
THIS WAS EXCELLENT STRONG (on Dark Sterling Coffee...)
matterrm | matterrm | Thu, 10/20/2011This was excellent strong flavorfull coffee. I was hoping it would live up to my expectations of a coffee with a kick yet not bitter and it did. I wish they made it in decaf!
THIS COFFEE IS VERY GOOD BUT (on Premium Espresso Cof...)
matterrm | matterrm | Thu, 10/20/2011This coffee is very good but a bit lighter than I expected. It doesn't taste like decaf so that makes up for the lighter roast. I added more coffee to the second pot and it was very good--it tasted like cafinated coffee!
THIS IS A GOOD MEDIUM ROAST (on Silver Cup Coffee Bl...)
matterrm | matterrm | Thu, 10/20/2011This is a good medium roast coffee. I prefer dark roasts but this is very good.
QUALITY ALL AROUND (on Sunrise Coffee Blend)
caseyk73 | caseyk73 | Wed, 06/29/2011This coffee is the perfect blend for hot cup in the morning or an afternoon Iced Coffee. The flavor is very bold, but not overpowering. I would definately recommend this to anyone interested in a good cup of coffee for a very reasonable price.

NEVER RECEIVED (on Silver Cup Coffee Bl...)
awest27 | awest27 | Sun, 04/25/2010Would love to review, but it was ordered on April 1, 2010 and as of today, April 25, have still not received. This is not a reflection of POASTe's service, which is excellent, but is indicative of the lack of service and the incompetence of Silver Roast Coffee. Just wanted to provide a little info for those thinking of ordering from Silver Roast Coffee.
I'M A FAN OF DEAN AND (on Premium Espresso Cof...)
tmccartn | tmccartn | Sat, 04/03/2010I'm a fan of Dean and Deluca's espresso roast due to the intense chocolate taste. This is a lighter version of that, great overall taste but not too bitter. The bean is a bit oily; actually some beans look dry others have oil leaking out of them. Some super automatics may have trouble with the oil. I would buy again!
SILVER CUP SUMATRA DECAF (on Sumatra Decaf Coffee...)
Eric Keerbs | Eric Keerbs | Thu, 04/01/2010I first learned about Silver Cup coffees through a fundraiser at my kids' school. I drink decaffeinated coffee because I can't handle much caffeine. I've tried Silver Cup's espresso roast decaf and really, really like it. So I had high hopes for the Sumatra blend. Maybe it's just my taste buds...I did not like the Sumatra as much as I like the espresso roast. It was a bit on the bitter side, not as smooth as the espresso roast.
COFFEE WAS EXCELLENT; (on Premium Espresso Cof...)
rmseeley | Tue, 01/12/2010Coffee was excellent; however, I think I ordered whole bean and received ground coffee.
DK STERLING (on Dark Sterling Coffee...)
nbg3323 | Thu, 01/07/2010i have a cuisinart expensive coffee pot...but it isnt a flat filter! this grind is too fine for a cone!!! it stops up the drip!!! it must be used in cheaper flat filter machines!!
SMELLS GOOD, BUT LIMITED FLAVOR (on Silver Cup Coffee Bl...)
TravelMarc | TravelMarc | Wed, 12/02/2009This coffee smells pretty good when you brew it, but the coffee is a bit light on the flavor. I grind and brew on the middle to stronger setting, but it's still a bit weak relative to other coffees. It's average for a daily coffee, but I would not serve it to guests. -TravelMarc
SILVER CUP PREMIUM ESPRESSO BLEND -... (on Premium Espresso Cof...)
Eric Keerbs | Eric Keerbs | Sun, 11/29/2009My kids' school sold Silver Cup coffee as a fundraiser last year. I've tried a lot of decaf espresso coffees over the years, and until I tried Silver Cup, I was pretty well resigned to a run-of-the mill decaf. I was even non-plussed by a local specialty coffee roaster's decaf espresso beans. All I can say is, WOW! I like an espresso with a bold, not bitter, flavor that is easy on the palate, and Silver Cup fits that description. Unlike some of the decaf espresso beans that I've tried, I have not had an issue getting a good cup of espresso from my home espresso machine...and in a pinch, I have even used this coffee in my coffee maker with great results too.
SILVER CUP BLEND (on Silver Cup Coffee Bl...)
mischelyosick | mischelyosick | Thu, 09/17/2009My husband and I will always purchase Silver Cup coffee. We recently moved from Seattle where we'd stop by their roasting facility to pick up our coffee. Now after a move to Southern CA we continue to purchase online via roaste.com The coffee is the best - its tastes great, is fresh and of the highest quality. I would and do recommend Silver Cup coffee to all my family and friends. Mischel Yosick
