SANT'EUSTACHIO COFFEE REVIEW (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
hofman4a | Fri, 02/03/2012Sant'Eustachio is an excellent blend with its smooth wood roasting, velvety crema in brewing and its even delicious finish. We have enjoyed this roast for five years and never get tired of it's consistently delicious flavor.
SANT'EUSTACHIO-CHRISTMAS (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
illustrate | illustrate | Sun, 12/18/2011Every Christmas, I treat myself to a new coffee. After brewing my first cup of Sant'Eustachio, the yearly tradition has ended. I just found THE coffee to fill my stocking, year after year.
MY NEW FAVORITE (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
meaganross | meaganross | Wed, 11/30/2011I purchased three different kinds of espresso beans to find a favorite order on a regular basis. I made a shot of each and sampled... like a wine tasting! (Ranked below) 1. Sant'Eustachio Coffee - 8 oz. 2. Vivace Espresso Dolce Coffee - 1 lb. 3. Klatch Belle Espresso Coffee - 12 oz. The Sant'Eustachio was my favorite. The wood roasting really shines through, and was much tastier than the others. In addition, the first shot brewed from this 8oz can was as good as the last. I've set this coffee as my auto ship!
LIVE FROM ROME (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
Rococobernini | Mon, 11/07/2011I live in Rome and spend 3 months out of the year in San Francisco (my hometown). Walking into Piazza Sant'Eustachio each day as I go about my life is an American dream. Not only is this coffee a basic staple, the history and aesthetics of its existence make drinking this "che bomba"!
GREAT AS DRIP COFFEE TOO (on Sant'Eustachio Decaf...)
Scott Lush | Scott Lush | Fri, 10/21/2011This tasted rich, dark and with a nut-like taste when I prepared it as a drip coffee in an Aeropress. Pretty delicious that way too, not just in an espresso machine.
THIS IS ABOUT AS GOOD AS IT (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
Joe Robertson | Joe Robertson | Wed, 10/05/2011This is about as good as it sounds - which is real good. After my first run I quickly ordered some more. Thinking about subscribing to this one.

FRESHHHHHHHHHH (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
golgothawas4me | golgothawas4me | Mon, 09/26/2011I bought a can at a different place and it was expired. Getting YOURS and it being FRESH and such a breath of fresh air. I love it. I bought a whole case. The taste reminds me of being in Italy. Thank you for the free shipping because of the purchase of 6 cans (case) Tuan
TIRED IT BASED ON THE REVIEWS.... (on Sant'Eustachio Decaf...)
smerysmd | smerysmd | Thu, 09/22/2011So I tried this coffee based on the history of the roaster and its unique way of roasting. I have to say I liked the coffee, but found myself back in the small can, high priced category. With so many great options out there now days... I cant say it was unique enough to have me coming back for more.
GOOD BUT NOT GREAT (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
SNCollin | SNCollin | Wed, 09/14/2011Based on the reviews, I expected much more from this one. Overall my espressos were good, just not the "great" that I hoped for. Maybe it's because I prefer a bolder taste but honestly, it just didn't separate itself from the pack when compared to higher production, easier to find Italians (Lavazza, etc).
THE INSIDE SCOOP ON SANT'EUSTACHIO ... (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
dkla | dkla | Tue, 09/13/2011I was disappointed that the ROASTe site did not mention that this is a low caffeine blend, even though it's stated on the package. The coffee was not bold enough for my taste. I don't want to have to brew multiple cups of coffee to get my morning "fix." I asked for coarse grind, but felt that I received fine grind. The 8 oz canister only lasted about 1 to 1.5 weeks. The coffee smoothness and aroma are excellent, but a better choice for those who prefer a low-caffeine blend. Edit: ROASTe has now updated its description of this product and says to disregard the "low caffeine" phrase on the canister.
THIS IS DECAF? (on Sant'Eustachio Decaf...)
sambhu | sambhu | Wed, 09/07/2011I normally don't like to spend good money on decaf whole beans because I know the taste just won't be the same as their regular counterparts. Due to my current "gotta change my ways" lifestyle, I decided to cut down on my caffeine intake and start incorporating decaf into my coffee regimen. As a Sant'Eustachio aficionado, I thought I'd give these beans a try. Yay! The flavor is rich, the depth is superb for decaf, and I am quite pleased with the purchase. If you're on the fence about decaf beans, you no longer need to be.
AS CLOSE AS WE CAN FIND... (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
ag in nocal | ag in nocal | Tue, 08/30/2011After much experimenting, this is as close as we can find to the wonderful coffee we drink during our trips to Italy. Of course, despite valiant efforts and good equipment (Baratza Virtuoso Grinder and Technivorm-Moccamaster), it will never be exactly the same as what the masters prepare for us there; nevertheless, this is definitely a very nice cup, with a fine balance of sweet, smokey, and earthy flavors; a creamy mouthfeel; and just the right touch of bitterness. We are very happy with this coffee.
GREAT TASTING COFFEE! (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
russotv | Thu, 08/25/2011Although this coffee comes as if it is ready for an espresso maker vs. a regular coffee maker.. it just takes a little less grounds to make a great tasting cup. I use a French press and get a nice aromatic cup in the morning!
NEXT BEST THING TO DEALING WITH THE... (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
sambhu | sambhu | Tue, 08/23/2011I got addicted to this coffee after bringing beans back with us from Rome a few years back. I savored every bean and was heartbroken when my grinder found itself working on domestic beans. I was so happy to discover that Roaste could bring back my memories of Rome and my delicious coffee with the click of a keystroke. I had tried various coffee brands, locally and shipped, but nothing matched the smooth flavor and wonderful aroma of these beans. I was initially surprised by the color of the beans but then realized that the wood roasting probably accounted for the change, and the added deliciousness of the product. My favorite coffee by far.

GREAT COFFEE WITH SANT'EUSTACHIO (on Sant'Eustachio Coffe...)
jillbcs | jillbcs | Thu, 06/30/2011We love the Sant'Eustachio coffee. It is delicious as cappucino or expresso. There is no bitter taste. Everytime we enjoy this roast we are reminded of the cafe/coffee bar in Roma with the same name. Thank you Roast e for supplying us with such a delight!
