MAKES GOOD, STRONG COFFEE - NOT ESP... (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    fatnat79 | Mon, 05/14/2012

Moka pots in general are a great way to enjoy a cup of coffee but don't expect espresso out of these things. The Bialetti Moka pot does a great job in getting you a strong cup of coffee. Helps to use preheated water to avoid overheating the coffee grounds.

A GREAT COLLECTION! (on Kontessa Oro Stoveto...)

    Son Ton | Sun, 03/11/2012

This is a really neat collection of stove top EXPRESSO coffee maker. Why need all four units you might ask? Generally, you want to make the coffee with these using the full capacity for the best taste so just having a big one and only making coffee for yourself it will not taste good. With this collection, you will have a choice to make a single serving for yourself or if your friends or family are over, you can break out the big unit and make it for them as well. Not to mention that these do look great displayed as well.

QUICK AND EASY (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    kc2dpt | Sat, 03/10/2012

When I want a good cup with an absolute minimum of fuss, this is the machine I go to. Put water in the bottom up to the fill line, put grinds in the basket and level it off (with the back of a knife or something), screw it all together and put on the stove. The water heats and it forced up through the grinds into the top reservoir. NOTE: The handle will melt so try to position the whole thing so the handle is off to the side. When you here the burbling noise it's done. (If you don't know what to listen for, you can leave the top flipped up and watch the magic happen. After a few minutes the coffee starts to drizzle out the top. When it's done there's some bubbling which make the aforementioned burbling noise.) To clean, wait for it to cool, unscrew everything, dump the grinds and rinse everything off. In this machine I like Lavazza, Illy, or Cafe Bustello, all available in cans at your grocer.

    ESPRESSO (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    SMJ | Sat, 03/10/2012

I received this as a gift and while I am not a daily espresso drinker their are times when I just want a nice cup of espresso. The machine itself is quite durable. I had to get used to watching the pot closely so it didn't boil over. I wash mine by hand and it has stayed nice and shiny.

    LOVE! (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

There is nothing like brewing a fresh pot of coffee using the Bialetti stovetop coffee maker. It's a simple yet refined way to brew a perfect cup of coffee to your liking. Overall I think the product is very easy to use, clean and will also impress your guests that you think outside of the normal coffee machine. I always appreciate people who put a little extra effort into their coffee and it shows through the taste.

ESPRESSO NIRVANA (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

This classic model is my all time favorite for making fine espresso. Beautiful classic design , extremely durable and easy to clean. Add a twist of lemon for a genuine Italian espresso experience at home.

IT'S JUST OK (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    bzolotor | Fri, 03/09/2012

I have owned 2 Bialettis and have been disappointed with the results. Despite using bottled water - the interior tarnished and the flavor was always a bit metallic.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    Aaron McCarty | Fri, 03/09/2012

We moved to this "espresso" maker in January 2012 and have not looked back since. The only draw back is the size: beware, if you and your mate enjoy a couple of rounds in the morning, this size likely will not cut it. We find ourselves running two batches in the morning, and then a little (1/3) gets wasted. We plan to move to the 12 cup ASAP! Hope this review helps.

GOOD BREWER (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    avaserfi | Fri, 03/09/2012

My folks just got one of these and they work very well. Consistent brew for a lot of people. I'm not the biggest fan of the flavor profile they develop, but well dialed in it is a nice reliable cup of coffee.

EASY CUP (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    avaserfi | Tue, 01/31/2012

These brewers are fairly easy to use and can make a decent up. I prefer pour over, but that is a more time consuming thought requiring process which doesn't always lend itself to early mornings.

A CUTE BREWER THAT ACTUALLY BREW GR... (on Bialetti Moka Expres...)

    Son Ton | Sat, 12/31/2011

I would not call the coffee from the Bialetti espresso but it is a very strong and good coffee. I used to drink moka pot coffee when I started out and have found memories of the coffee from it. Basically, you want really good and fresh coffee bean, grind to a consistency between drip and espresso, dose the basket so that it is full but do not force or tamp the basket. I usually put hot water into the base so that it can finish brewing faster and remove the unit from the stove when it start making loud hissing noise so that the coffee is not burnt. I have the slightly larger capacity unit but I guess it should make similar good coffee.

BEAUTIFUL ACCENT (on Vespress Oro Stoveto...)

    EricBNC | Thu, 12/29/2011

With it's stunning gold accents and quality 18/10 stainless steel, this is a beautiful design worth considering if you are looking for a smaller stylish mokka pot. This Vespress Oro Stovetop Coffee Maker 6-Cup Mokka pot is great for making strong, aromatic, and flavorful coffee - it requires a bit more attention than an auto drip but the results are worth the extra trouble - the 6 cup size is a bit misleading if you think about cups as being 8 or 12 fl oz - this makes 2 fl oz cups (espresso size) times 6 - so 12 fl oz at a time - plenty for two people.

This Vespress Oro Stovetop Coffee Maker 3-Cup Mokka pot is great for making strong, aromatic, and flavorful coffee - it requires a bit more attention than an auto drip but the results are worth the extra trouble - the 3 cup size is a bit misleading if you think about cups as being 8 or 12 fl oz - this makes 2 fl oz cups (espresso size) times 3 - so only 6 fl oz at a time. Quality 18/10 stainless steel too.

GREAT LOOKING MOKKA (on Vespress Oro Stoveto...)

    EricBNC | Thu, 12/29/2011

This Vespress Oro Stovetop Coffee Maker 14-Cup Mokka pot is great for making strong, aromatic, and flavorful coffee - it requires a bit more attention than an auto drip but the results are worth the extra trouble - these larger ones need more coffee so the coarseness of the grind needs to be increased over the smaller models - the 14 cup size is a bit misleading if you think about cups as being 8 or 12 fl oz - this makes 2 fl oz cups (espresso size) times 14 - so 28 fl oz at a time. With it's 18/10 stainless steel durability and gold accents, if you are looking for a very large, tough yet beautiful stainless steel mokka pot, then look no further.
