Coffee for Turks is not simply a drink: it has its own history, its institutions (coffeehouses), its rituals, its own rules of when and how to drink it, and even a tradition of fortune-telling by reading the coffee grinds deposited at the bottom of a traditional Turkish coffee cup. Most Turks would find it redundant to call coffee Turkish coffee - all coffee IS Turkish coffee.

Son Ton | Mon, 03/19/2012this coffee maker is as hand-on as it is going to get. With good quality coffee beans, it is actually not that difficult to make great coffee with this little device. It is also very beautiful to boot. Also make sure you have a good grinder that can handle turkish grind or buy one of those brass turkish hand coffee grinder!

This would go really well with an ibrik for making authentic turkish coffee; just make sure you feed this grinder good quality coffee beans available on Roaste.
