Mr. Espresso
Mr. Espresso is the result of my love affair with coffee which goes back to my hometown of Salerno, Italy. There, as a young man, I worked for the Nestler Coffee Roasting Plant.
The proprietor, a coffee roasting master, made me his protégé. With great generosity and personal pride he taught me all of his skills, from bean selection to blending. Most importantly, he taught me his method of roasting with Oak Wood.
When I came to America I discovered there were few places where I could get a good espresso. I saw this as an opportunity to implement all my skills in coffee roasting and founded Mr. Espresso in 1978.
I happily bring to America the tradition of wood-roasted coffee. I hope you enjoy!

I have been wowed by this blend to say the least. Perhaps not the most challenging blend out there or one that someone would love if they like acidity, but real good nonetheless.

elg6 | elg6 | Tue, 11/22/2011Kind of curious... the inorganic Neapolitan was good too, but the organic is great. And the delivery is real fast. I was getting another brand here but the bags were underweight and the shipping was real slow. Someday I'll try another kind of Mr. Espresso espresso, but for now the Neapolitan is perfect. Roaste is a real honest company, the way things used to be in the US. You can't go wrong here.

It is the perfect coffee for espresso or french press. There is no bitterness and the taste is very pleasurable for drinking anytime. Try it and you will not be disappointed!!!

But it is coffee and coffee needs a bite or at least a slap. Simply to say it is a great breakfast coffee and really helps me and my boyfriend to start our day. Hot or Cold.

xprzzo | xprzzo | Tue, 04/19/2011It may just be me, but if the beans are oily, you can no longer call it a 'medium' roast.... when playing with the temperature profile it went straight from sour to bitter - I went through two pounds and never could find its sweetspot.... it does come alive in milk though, when its own bitterness is toned down by the milk sugars.
