ailevin | ailevin | Sun, 02/05/2012This coffee makes an excellent single origin (SO) espresso. There is enough complexity and a nice balance of high notes, midlevel spice, and full bodied base (or bass to continue the musical analogy). This is one SO espresso where you never feel like the flavors are strident. It is also quite nice as a drip or aeropress brew, with floral or spicy smell/taste and that typical indonesian body. However, I have been using it primarily as espresso. Highly recommended.

I didn't get much orange, and what chocolate I got was muddled. But, alas, a disappointment from Klatch is still a 3-star coffee.

samuellaw178 | samuellaw178 | Tue, 01/31/2012In my experience, this is a pretty good SO. It's on the fruity side with a very nice sweet chocolate finish. Very smooth and balanced. It's probably a less complex as other blend I am used to. But is perfect for a smooth tasty drink in the late evening without shocking your palate.

10spro | 10spro | Mon, 01/30/2012This is my new favorite blend. Very smooth but not to light to start the date. Has the substance that I prefer for a breakfast blend. Had a little mix up when I re-ordered and was sent house espresso instead of breakfast blend. Thanks to Roaste and Klatch they sent me my 2lb bag of breakfast blend and even allowed me to keep the 2lb bag of house espresso. Now that is what I call great customer service! Thanks you have a repeat customer for sure now

So far I have really liked this best as a drip coffee, found that it has nice bright orange taste, but not over whelming like some Ethiopian coffees can be. I have found that the mouthfeel is a little lacking in both drop and espresso. As espresso the orange flavor is very pronounced, but in a orange candy sort of way, not sure if the name is influencing my taste or not but it is good! Oh and I have not had any bitters with it.

bdcline | bdcline | Wed, 01/11/2012Whew, this was a very bright, almost astringent blend. Personally, I wouldn't describe it as smooth, but more acidic. I like that, though, so I enjoyed the wake-up call! Brewed pour-over style.
