THE BEANS HAVE A WONDERFUL (on Isla Bonita Rainfore...)
kafbridge | Sat, 06/18/2011The beans have a wonderful rich coffee aroma, leading me to hope for a similar flavor. Unfortunately i found the flavor on the bland side -- but no doubt one drinker's "bland" is another's "smooth." This coffee is certainly worth a try, although pretty pricey.
VERY HIGH QUALITY BEANS, GOOD DARK ... (on Isla Bonita Rainfore...)
Scott Lush | Thu, 02/17/2011Tastes rich, dark, full bodied, chocolately. Low citrus / brightness. Visually these beans are some of the most consistent, clean and uniform that I've seen yet from Puerto Rico without chaff / parchment. This roaster buys direct from 5 eco-friendly farms in Puerto Rico and has been excellent about communicating with us and shipping orders. This coffee really shows how coffee farmers in Puerto Rico are upping their game.
THIS COFFEE ROCKS! (on Isla Bonita Rainfore...)
laceyaleman | Sat, 01/22/2011I immediately detected the subtle tone of citrus and chocolate and was amazingly surprised at the smooth, deep bodied taste of this coffee. I plan to get it monthly so I can drink it every day. Bravo!!!
