We are dedicated to teaching and providing our customers high quality, fresh roasted coffees.
BeanFruit Coffee Co. is Fair Trade Certified roaster as well as a member of the RainForest Alliance. Although we are members and support these organizations, we do not turn a blind eye to coffee producers outside the scope of these certifications. We understand there are producers of exceptional coffees that do not meet the criteria of these certifications, but share the same values as us, including fair employee treatment and wages, safe farming practices and environmental preservation. Our first focus is quality.

Jazdup | Mon, 10/17/2011Coffee description from Roaste for this coffee: Sweet dark chocolate introduces the cup with notes of toffee, spice & grapefruit zest that gradually appear during its silky long lasting finish. Above is the description as listed on Roaste and wasn't what I found it to be. I called the roaster to ask if there was any acid. He said no. Unfortunately, there was too much acid for my liking. I guess acid is what they call zest. I asked if there was really a long lingering aftertaste and he said yes. I didn't taste a silky long lasting finish. I didn't find a long finish at all. It was a rich cup though. If you want some acid and a rich cup of coffee that has zest for aftertaste, then perhaps you may enjoy this coffee. They label the date roasted on back of the bag, which is a nice feature that all small roasters should do. Shipping was at lighting speed.
