EXCELLENT GRINDER (on Macap MC4 Coffee Gri...)
Son Ton | Sun, 06/10/2012Macap is a solid brand. This grinder is solid and produce nice espresso grind. On par with Mazzer Super Jolly.
A BARGAIN (on Macap MC4 Coffee Gri...)
Wakeknot | Sun, 02/26/2012this is a grinder that is built like a tank and at a bargain price. I don't know of a grinder of this build quality sold for less than this. I do prefer the doser version though (but it is not as cheap).
NICE (on Macap MC4 Coffee Gri...)
samuellaw178 | Fri, 12/30/2011Macap makes nice grinder and this is one of them for entry level espresso grinding. It's a little smaller and slower as compared to its big brother, but the buil quality is unbeatable. And this is the doserless version. Would be a little more messy but good for those who despise doser.
NICE TAMPER (on Macap Pressimo 57mm ...)
EricBNC | Sat, 12/24/2011The Macap Pressimo 57mm Coffee Tamper is a nice tamper that someone with a Macap product will want to complete the matching gear for great espresso.
VERY NICE (on Macap MC4 Coffee Gri...)
EricBNC | Thu, 12/22/2011For much less than the Mazzer mini's price one of these will give as great a grind with equal durability - both are bullet proof.
GOOD GRINDER (on Macap M4 Manual Coff...)
Wakeknot | Thu, 10/20/2011This is one of the best in this class. You get a better grind from the Vario, but a better build from the Macap.
COOL BUT EXPENSIVE (on Macap Pressimo 57mm ...)
Wakeknot | Tue, 09/27/2011A great training tool that is cool, but expensive. If you don't mind the price it would be a fun thing for a beginner to have!
LABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GRINDER. (on Macap M4 Manual Coff...)
homerepairbear | Thu, 06/30/2011I upgraded several months ago from a Rancilio Rocky Doserless to the Macap M4 with Doser. Thought I was not going to love the doser but let myself be coerced and have no regrets. The worm gear allows for endless fine tuning to the grind. The doser is actually a lot easier than I thought. Best part, zero waste aside from what might still be inside the grinder. And zero mess. I only feed the grinder enough beans for the shot I'm pulling, so the size of the hooper is overkill for my 2 shots a day routine. An option for a smaller hopper/configuration would also allow it to sit under cabinetry and be workable there. Highly reco this grinder. Much prefer the manual operation and level of control to the digital options out there. No timing the grind, scoop the 18 grams, push the on button, then dose. Pure pleasure. And it's easy to clean.
