rtamb | Thu, 05/10/2012lavazza is always good. Not sure this is the best bean for expresso or latta. I will use it for regular coffee. It is a good strong bean with not much after taste and decent cream. Nothing against this bean just perfer a hint of chocolate taste.

rtamb | Fri, 04/13/2012Just got it from UPS driver only took 3 days to receive. Yes I made a cup immediately. Great crema and wonderful taste. No acid taste a hint of chocolate. Verry smooth like the stonger taste than my usual Vinance dolce. I love it!,,, My new favorite and it is very reasonably priced!,,,,You folks at Roaste ROCK!!!!!

yyc | Tue, 11/29/2011I have been a dedicated Lavazza drinker for many years--dating back to the days when the only way to drink Lavazza in the US was to shlep it back from Italy. This is my favorite coffee for straight espresso, though for cappuccino or latte, some of their other coffees are just as good (I used pienaroma for many years and I currently use gran crema pods in the car with my handpresso). At any rate, this coffee has a delicious taste and aftertaste. I brew this with a pasquini livia 90 and just can't think of anything negative to say about this coffee at all!

tkaiser | Mon, 11/21/2011I followed recomendations listed by other espresso drinkers and I'm glad I did. This bean is a great price for the quantity. I do prefer darker brews though. This bean is really smooth and flavorful.

djcho | Sun, 11/06/2011This is a great bean for a full-automatic machine. This bean produce an espresso with a thick crema and a smooth, full bodied taste. We have a Jura-ENA and adjust it to a medium grind and getting best taste coffee all the time!

I heard so much about this Lavazza crema brand of Espresso bean and it was just so-so regarding the distinct flavor and aroma that I am used to in fresh well-roasted Espresso Italian whole coffee beans. Had other brands that tasted so much better! Will I get that brand again. No, not worth the money. If it tasted like extrodinary espresso, I would buy the product again without hesitation. broseph | Tue, 09/13/2011I used to use this way back in the day. Totally unobjectionable "coffee flavor" for a few days but because it's pre-ground, after a few days it's noticeably woody/stale. Also, it's really, really expensive for what you get.

While it is not Sant'Eustachio coffee it is a wonderful Italian coffee and is a great way to start our mornings! You can't go wrong with ordering any of the Lavazza line of products. rah0004 | Tue, 06/21/2011I'm still on the fence on this one. I was not terribly excited with my first double pull. However, as I've adjusted the grind through the week, I've decided this makes a pretty decent espresso. It has a very roasted flavor, & a nice crema. If you are looking for something for a latte, this might not be the one. Not sure it holds up to milk too well. I purchased 2 bags, so I will continue to experiment.

OCcoffeelover | Wed, 06/15/2011I ordered this finely ground for my Jura Ena 3 -- and while it was still very delicious and you could tell that this was freshly roasted, next time I think I'll have it ground more on the coarse side. Still though, delivery was very quick and when I had an issue that needed to brought up to customer service -- the turnaround was exemplary. I will be definitely be ordering from roaste.com from now on!
