The special taste and aroma of Jacobs coffee brand today expresses the inspiration of its creator Johann Jacobs. Opening a coffee and tea shop in Bremen, Germany, in 1895, he began roasting his own coffee, enabling him “to treat each variety according to its character and the structure of the beans, thus giving my coffee its own special taste.”
The brand’s flagship blend of coffee, Krönung, is also marketed as Monarch in Austria and Russia. Jacobs Krönung/Monarch is known for having the best aroma, which is the most meaningful characteristic of coffee for consumers.

Once I opened the coffee up & smelled the aroma I knew that I was going to fall in love with this coffee. I, like most here in the States, own one of those single serve coffee makers. Most coffee's I've been happy with but now ran out to purchase their wire basket adapter & brewing my favorite German coffee. I believe once I finish this bag I might buy the beans & grind my own to get even a fresher cup of Jacob's!!!! Couldn't be happier--the only drawback is that the entire package is in german which I don't understand. No problem went to the internet site to translate directions & pasted on bag for all those in my household when I'm not up or around. Highly recommend this brew of Jacob's. No cons, only pro's.
