The smell on opening it was rich and not overpowering which made me wonder at it's potency. So, I brewed us up a couple of cups and the smell was delightful, the flavor strong and no bitterness at all a very well rounded and wonderful espresso, I would definitely order this again.

jdelehant | jdelehant | Thu, 06/10/2010Though I normally drink a darker coffee, I enjoyed Caffee Trombetta Decaf. The flavor was smooth and mild, without a hint of acidity. Next time I may mix this with a dark, regular coffee to give me that darker coffee I prefer. Nice product!

After a beautiful meal of Clams, Mussels, and shrimp, in a silky, cream sauce. A Very nice Italian Barolo (I know white with seafood, but we like red!!!) After we all sat there enjoying what we just ate, the time came for the after dinner cafe. The aroma of the ground coffee, set the tone for a wonderful cafe. The flavor was rich, authentic, and true. Though it was not made in an Bar-size Cafe maker, our home maker pulled the flavors out beautifully. This roast will be in home, no matter in the world we are. Thank you and Grazie Tanti!!! :)

caffination | caffination | Thu, 03/25/2010I recently recieved this coffee as part of a giveaway. and the first thing i noticed upon opening up the bpackage was how bright and bold the smell was. It literally smelled good enough to eat. Full sweet chocolate and berry notes when dry. The beans were a wonderful medium brown, dry with no oil visible. When brewed the chocolate smell took over although the sweetness was still there the berry tones were muted. I made the first pot in my office and the entire floor came to find the smell. After sharing most of the first pot we all agreed, a wonderful bold sweet dark chocolate taste with a clean finish. It was also good in a french press as well. Would definitely buy this in the future
