    Though I enjoy the full body of Caveman Kicker Coffee, it doesn't have the most appealing flavor or aroma. It tasted best to me when made into a latte.

    I came across Caveman Kicker Coffee on Roaste.com by accident. And I'm so glad it happened. I love dark roasts and thought I'd filtered for that. Caveman Kicker appeared and had some great reviews. So I bought a pound.

    When my coffee arrived a couple of days later (speedy—thanks, Rogue Coffee!), I immediately saw it labeled as a medium dark roast. I prepared for disappointment. While not as dark as I like in the wee hours of the a.m., Caveman Kicker Coffee is nonetheless full of flavor and has a very nice combination of smoothness and acidity. I also found it to be very rich but not overly so (to the extent where one can barely finish a cup--Peets brewed in-store is like this, I find).

    I use a touch of milk in my morning coffee so I can't speak for a Caveman Kicker experience without it. But I suspect it would be nice, perhaps especially with sugar.

    Additional detail: I made my Caveman Kicker in a Bialetti Stovetop pot. Every time, the brewed coffee tasted essentially the same. I rate that result highly because I don't fancy coffee redo's early in the morning.

    Definitely a thumbs up for Caveman Kicker by Rogue Coffee on Roaste.com. While I'm not buying it again immediately, I know I'll do so in the future. Glad I can access it so quickly and easily via Roaste.com!

    Not really as dark a roast as we like but still it has a distinctive flavor we enjoyed. It definitely made our 'list' of beans we'll purchase again.

    My husband and I both prefer a very strong cup of coffee. After reading the reviews I decided to order Caveman Kicker. We both Love this coffee! A strong roast with a smooth flavor. This brew will be a staple in our house-

    Unfortunately, I like more darker roasts. Anyone looking for a good medium roast, though, may like this one as it had a great, smooth flavor.

    I purchased this coffee for my Husband who LOVES a strong brew. He had grown tired of the typical "strong brews" from the grocery store, so I decided to surprise him. He loved the extra kick in this Caveman Kicker Coffee. I will have to purchase again, because he will insist :)

    I enjoyed the coffee a lot. Its flavor is not bitter at all and the smell is intoxicating with noticeable chocolate tones.

    The glockenspiel of my palet was ringing with glee. To continue the metaphor further, it was a man sitting on my tongue playing a sweet refrain.

    Very impressed with this coffee from the first sip to the last.

    From the aroma, the coffee carried a nice smooth, but bold aroma. There was a noticeable chocolate note underneath. There was also a spice like note coming through.

    The taste was just plain delicious. The coffee has a very smooth body, and underneath the smooth body is a chocolate note and more hints of spice.

    At first, the coffee is smooth and intense, and then hints of fruit start to appear out of nowhere. Just when I thought I had the coffee figured out, it surprised me with it’s goodness.

    The aftertaste is also very smooth, very clean with a hint of smokiness. I mean just a hint.

    Overall, the coffee tastes great. Blew past my expectations, and let’s not forget that this coffee really snaps you out of your sleepy zombie state.

    I had to try this coffee just based on the name and the extra caffeine it promised. It arrived very quickly (and I made a batch just as fast). One word: WOW. It is a strong coffee with a bold and very enjoyable flavor. My dad wanted to know if I put in extra while making it (I had not - I made it the way I normally do). As for the extra caffeine jolt - that worked too! I went from a zombie state to being able to function. I will be ordering this again. Caveman Kicker delivers!
