Caribou Costa Rica Sombra del Poro Coffee beans are grown in central Costa Rica's Tarazzu' region under beautiful flower-laden branches of poro trees. The lush river valley is one of the most bio-diverse regions on the planet, and is known for exquisite speciality coffees. This coffee has been carefully cultivated under the ''sombra del poro'' (shade of the poro), which causes the cherries develop more slowly, allowing the fruity flavors of the bean to intensify naturally.

Roasted to a medium-light degree to preserve the Sombra del Poro's sweetness and punch. You'll find notes of dark chocolate and notes of sweet-tart black cherry, woven with a robust body in the cup.
