This was my first purchase of a Kenya AA so I was not sure what to expect. First off the beans are very pretty! Not that it matters much but because of the grading process these beans are the best of the best. Big and beautiful! On to the important part of taste ... I used a full immersion brew method for full flavor extraction. The result was a very nicely rounded cup of coffee. Not very acidic and actually a milder roasted coffee then I had expected. The flavor profile was true to the winy - fruity undertones you read about. I would try this one again in the future.
Excellent value. Rich, full-bodied traditional Kenya flavor. Lingering notes of carmel and almold.
