- 6.6oz Dark Espresso Roast Cafe Cubano - Matanzas - An excellent morning coffee - Robust, bright and tangy, a strong yet balanced coffee with some bite and nutty overtones that finishes "con una patada" [with kick].
- 6.6oz Dark Roast Cafe Cubano - La Habana - Fragrant, mildly complex with "buen" [good] acidity and subtle citrus flavors. A coffee with"vida" [life] that captures the "espirito" [spirit] of its "nombre" [name].
- 6.6oz Dark Roast Cafe Cubano - Orlando - Our hometown brew is a full flavored uncomplicated coffee with deep berry notes. 'Suave' [smooth] and laid back with 'salpica' [a light snap].

Doug Pickett | Wed, 10/05/2011 - 04:07This is a pretty solid assortment of coffees. All of them are dark-roasted and have subtle differences. Shipping problems by the roaster knock this down a star and also will make me think twice about ordering from them again.

As someone who would drink instant because it was easy she really enjoyed the full flavor of "real" coffee. We had a nice discussion about it - waiting for her coffee maker really was not that much longer than making instant. With coffee like the ones from Kana Cuban Coffee Roasters she just may say goodbye to instant forever!!

Dark, full roasts, often beyond even traditional French roast bring out full carmelization, with sweet undertones and minimal bitterness. If you like darker roasts for your espresso, you'll definitely enjoy these.
