Spring has sprung and we are pleased to announce the arrival of our latest limited edition coffees!
First up is a Kenya AA from the Kia-Ora Farm. Kia-Ora Farm has recognized the heart of their business is their global environmental awareness and high quality product they are producing. Macadamia nuts and coffee are intercropped on the Kia-Ora Farm which promotes better growing conditions for both the coffee and the macadamia nuts by keeping the soil well balanced year after year. The intercropping also gives a tropical nutty taste to the coffee, unique to coffee grown under these conditions.
Some of you may remember this stand out pick from a few years ago. That coffee was extremely well received and we expect the same this time around.
"Kia-Ora" is a Maori word meaning "Into the Wild" which is right where this coffee will take you.
Cupping Notes: Bright notes of blackberry give way to a tropical nutty taste.

mgchoate | Thu, 08/18/2011 - 07:43Although no coffee compares to the Ethiopian Natural Yergacheff, the Kenya AA Kia-Ora coffee will do in a pinch. Yes, I will buy it again because I cannot buy what I really want.
