zimm25 | Sun, 12/11/2011 - 08:53As a big fan of mint, but rarely a fan of mint coffee, I found Candy Cane to be very, very good. It's a very light roast, so it's not for those that prefer bold coffee with a hint of flavor. This is flavorful and that flavor is MINT. Your mouth almost feels like you brushed your teeth after you take a taste. I typically add a little sugar to my coffee, but I found that I liked this better without. A little cream makes it almost taste like you're drinking a junior mint. Like almost all coffees on Roaste, it's much better than anything you'll find except at a specialty coffee shop.

MORE CANDY FLAVOR THAN MINT

If it was named "Candy" instead of"Candy Cane" I would have given it 5 stars. I do wish it had a little bit more mint flavor, but that was easily remedied with a couple of drops of extract. I would buy this again for something different than a plain mint flavor.
