THESE FILTERS ARE NICE FOR A
intrepid510 | Fri, 01/20/2012 - 16:55These filters are nice for a variety of reasons, namely you dont ever have to worry about being out of filters for your coffee maker. They also allow for a bolder coffee since the oils are not fitlered out more similar to a french press coffee. However they can are not as easy to use as paper since you have to thwack out the grinds into the garbage or compost!
WORKS GREAT
EricBNC | Sun, 12/18/2011 - 13:10these filters perform as advertised - the better the grinder you use, the fewer fines will make it through the basket - great mouth feel and flavor oils too with this filter.

PERMANENT COFFEE FILTER
maporis | Thu, 09/08/2011 - 06:23My purchased filter works beautifully, has an easy handle for extraction for cleaning, and fits my new Cuisinart coffee maker perfectly. Roaste was out of my original order and recommended this one. Thanks Roaste for the help and the product.
WORKS WELL BUT...
jbviau | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 07:01I used to use one of these in my drip machines with good results. At the time, I felt I was just being "green" by not wasting paper filters. Only later did I realize that I was also doing myself a favor since metal filters--unlike paper--allow certain aromatic oils to pass into the cup, giving you a different (some might say "richer") flavor profile. One downside, however: these metal filters also allow fine sediment through. As with French press coffee, beware the last sip.
