  • GRINDER FOR THE WIN

I have two grinders. This one I use for coffee and an older one that I use for spices for cooking. It is remarkable! Both have outlasted the "new and improved" models (I can tell you horror stories of the motor on a "new" one actually burning out and a blade breaking). There is nothing like a pot of freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee in the morning (or afternoon or evening) and this will help you get there! Steady and reliable!

  • I'VE HAD THIS GRINDER FOR

    d4obrien | Wed, 06/29/2011 - 07:42

I've had this grinder for more years than I can remember, probably at least 10 years, It doesn't get daily use any more since I bought a grind and brew machine. But it is a great backup. Well worth the $20.

This is an excellent, reliable grinder. It's built very robust grinds up beans very fast and requires very little to no maintenance. I've had this grinder for a while now and I can't say that I have any complaints. I use with my Yama Vac pot and together, this grinder and aforementioned vac pot makes some of the best coffee I've tasted. Sorry starbucks but it's going to be a while before you see me again :)

  • GRINDER

    sleepyxsusu | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 10:25

I like this grinder. The only problem is with the grinds sticking. I've found that pulsing and grinding really does work the best with this. You don't want too much heat on your coffee beans. but this works great and it's easy to store!

  • TRY THE "PULSE AND SHAKE" METHOD

If this is the best you can do, you might consider pulsing and shaking to keep heat down and avoid fines.

  • BEST BLADE GRINDER I EVER USED

    EricBNC | Thu, 04/28/2011 - 15:32

This blade grinder has been around forever - ours is over 20 years old now and looks exactly the same - don't mess with success! Sure, a burr grinder is more precise, but what comes out of this grinder will make a much better cup than stale pre ground coffee - and the price is right!

  • FOR A BLADE GRINDER...

    broseph | Tue, 11/30/2010 - 00:58

For a blade grinder I thought this was pretty solid. I liked the oval shape and didn't find it that messy. Once I sprung for a burr grinder, I found this more than adequate for bustin' up spices.
