REVIEWS & COMMENTS
EXCELLENT ECONOMY KEURIG
divineangel8 | Fri, 03/09/2012 - 11:17A great machine for a quick cup of coffee in the morning. The brew time is so fast, I don't see the need pay more for one that's programmable. The only thing I noticed is that if you plan on using the reusable k-cup by Keurig (to save money and have more coffee choices) you need to buy a rubber washer to fit in the inset of the cover so the seal is as tight as it with the one-time use k-cups. These are very inexpensive ($1-$2 each) and available at any hardware store.
MARGINAL AS A COFFEE MACHINE
vghozlan | Fri, 09/16/2011 - 12:54The Keurig machine makes a marginal cup of coffee. If you are anal (like I am about coffee), then this machine is not for coffee lovers. The amount of pressure exerted is not enough to give the coffee a good taste. I usually have to douse the cup with lots of a flavored cream to hide the bad taste. For a quick cup or an office, it works since it eliminates the need for someone to clean coffee grinds or wash out carafes.
RATING
jemerson303 | Tue, 06/21/2011 - 18:03I was house sitting for some people who had this machine and I used it for nine days. When I returned home, I missed it so much that I looked into getting one. I was pretty sure it would cost too much, but when I saw how AFFORDABLE it was, I ordered one right away. I have not regreted it once! The variety pack of coffee and tea that came with it is great. I'm enjoying tasting each one so I will know what I will order next. I'm on a pretty tight budget, but I think it will save me money long term. Think of how much coffee that's left in your pot you end up dumping out...that's money down the drain. I am not receiving any compensation for this review and rarely take the time to comment on or rate products I buy. I am genuinely extremely happy with this Keurig B40 Elite coffee maker! :-D
KEURIG B40 ELITE BREWING SYSTEM -- FREE 12-COUNT VARIETY PACK!
spoodles | Tue, 05/24/2011 - 10:03I love, love, love my new Kuerig! It works beautifully and makes a great cup of coffee every time.
NO FRILLS RELIABILITY - RECOMMENDED!
EricBNC | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 20:31I started with one of these but found a good deal on a B60. This one still works great but I like the smaller 6 fl oz cup size setting on the B60. Other than that one big feature, programmable on/off, and the ability to lower the temps (why?) and some additional shiny parts, these are the same machine. I am the only one using the 6 fl oz selection though, everyone else till uses the two larger settings so make sure you like your coffee very strong before spending extra to get the next step up from this model.
KEURIG B40
machita219 | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 18:30This is a very good coffee maker. It makes excellent coffee, I had one problem with it and Keurig stood behind their warranty 100%.
KEURIG B40
rlucchesi | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 17:51This is my second Kuerig maker. I like it overall but the machines start to get funky after a year. They stop making full cups of coffee and I am always doing the descaling as scheduled. I just wish they would come down on the price of these.
GOOD ENTRY-LEVEL KEURIG
jbviau | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 16:55Does what it needs to do without bells and whistles. You can stop the brew cycle short by powering the machine off if you want a cup smaller than 8 oz.
KURIG B40 COFFEE "POT"
Reed | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 15:25My daughter and also one of my close friends have this same model coffee maker and both praised it. I bought and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I also bought a Kurig "My K Cup" or whatever it's called with the wire screen basket. It's worthless in my estimation unless you like real weak coffee. I then purchased Perfect Pod E-Z Cup with a supply of paper filters and now make coffee the way I like it.
Nor has using the prepackaged K cups failed to give me the coffee I expected.
This is overall a convenient way to insure a fresh cup of coffee any time it's desired.
LOVING MY COFFEE MAKER
