REVIEWS & COMMENTS
OKAY
samuellaw178 | Sat, 12/24/2011 - 18:53This is not too bad for grinding coffee for coffee brewing. If it fits your budget, then you can go for it. As usual, to get the best out of coffee, the grinder is a very important key. So the better grinder you get, the better coffee you will have.
OKAY FOR BREWED, NOT ESPRESSO
speedstar | Thu, 09/29/2011 - 07:59This one is okay for brewed coffee but don't expect to be able to handle espresso from this unit. I had one for a while and moved one to something else.
AGREED
Wakeknot | Tue, 09/27/2011 - 20:22this is a fine product for brewed coffee. It will not suffice for great espresso.
OK FOR FILTER DRIP
EricBNC | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 19:55This grinder has a powerful motor for fast grinding which is good. Unfortunately this speed creates a lot of static. To combat this I folded a thick piece of foil into a thin strip that runs from the outside of the grounds container (where it touches the grinder body) to near the bottom of the container. I did not secure it because I want the ground coffee entering the container to hit the strip first. This contact with the strip takes care of most static which makes dumping the container less messy since the grounds are not sticking every where. It is not the most consistent grinder on the market with regard to particle size but it will do OK grinding for paper filtered manual or auto drip coffee.
CUISINART GRINDER
Gazy | Thu, 08/19/2010 - 15:18Just received my brand new grinder and I have already ground 1 lb.
So far so goods. I used the finest setting and got a reasonably fine coffee. Still have to try and brew Arabic (Turkish if you will) to see if it's really finely ground. The machine works well.
I insist that designer should be forced to clean the device that they design; perhaps only then would we -consumers- enjoy machines that are cleaner-friendly (did I just invent this?). Some spots are impossible to reach so debris remains inside the machine.
After I use it for several more pounds, I will write a new review.
One good word for the merchant: the packaging was perfect and the shipment was quick. Kudos.
