    Where are these made? I've been hearing a lot about the newish American Coffee Trader cloth filters and am now wondering if they could be made to work in this application.

    These work great with my 5 cup yama siphon. Good practice to also boiler filters in water with a mild, scentless detergent when they get really brown.

    This is the more common type of filter assembly, but I prefer the two-part filter that Yama (and also Hario) makes. It allows for easier cleaning of the cloth, and let's you use paper or metal as well. More versatile than this.
