  • MY NEW FAV

    mrs.schrody | Thu, 06/30/2011 - 16:20

I finally got a glass french press, and I'm so glad I did! I was paranoid that I'd break it since I'm a klutz, but this is a very sturdy press + I can just buy a replacement glass (which ROASTe also sells) if I destroy it. It's also very easy to clean. The size makes discarding the last cup without cheating myself out of coffee simple & the glass means I don't have to worry about any 'contamination' if I decide to brew a light delicate roast after I've brewed a strong roast earlier in the day. I highly recommend this press, I'm sure it will make any coffee lover happy.

  • FRENCH PRESS 4-EVER!

    bkersh | Thu, 06/30/2011 - 13:39

Nothing beats a French Press! It's quick, easy and makes delicious coffee! I accidentally broke ours when camping last year and had to immediately place an order for another one. We are spoiled to the point of going without versus having to drink drip coffee. Nothing against you drippers...hee!

  • EXCELLENT PORTABILITY

    ssnova66 | Wed, 06/29/2011 - 13:12

I am a huge fan of the French Press. Not only does it make an excellent cup of coffee, but it is extremely portable as well. We love to take it camping with us! I also enjoy the fact that it is easy to clean, and can brew to any strength based on the grind used, and time allowed to steep.

  • A NICE GIFT

    Lisa | Wed, 06/29/2011 - 09:30

I was given this for my birthday. It is great! A perfect way to make my iced coffee (in a non messy way!). I also use it for my tea as well. Now to see if I can pack it without breaking it so I can bring it camping with me! You cannot go wrong having a French press in your coffee making arsenal and if you do not know what to get someone for a gift? It is perfect! (especially if you give it with coffee!).

  • LOVE IT

    Doug Pickett | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 14:15

I absolutely love this french press. Sturdy, larger capacity. Good for hot or cold brewing. Makes a delicious cup of coffee, and allows me to keep my drip machine in the cabinet.

  • BIGGER IS BETTER

    jbviau | Fri, 06/03/2011 - 23:32

Right, this larger size works well if you want to use the press to do double duty for cold-brewing.

  • FRENCH PRESS IS BEST

    rdfish1 | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 19:52

I have a lot of different machines including a krups, mr. coffee, saeco espresso, two presses and a cuisinart. I also have several grinders that I use to grind fresh roasted coffee beans to store bought whole beans. While I can make decent cofee in any of the machines, this press is the one that produces the best, most consistent coffee I've ever had. Might not be for everyone but if you are looking to step it up, this is a great way to make outstanding coffee

  • OLD STANDBY

    NYC_javadog | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 15:31

Relatively portable, not that expensive, and makes a strong cup of coffee. Needs a course grind. If you let the coffee stand too long (true with any french press maker), it may be too strong for your liking (as will be the last cup made since it may be in contact with the grounds for a long time).

  • MAKES GREAT COFFEE

    kemical | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 09:53

What can I say, it's a french press that makes great coffee. Use water just off boil, let it sit for 4 minutes, press the plunger, and enjoy!

  • GREAT FOR ICED COFFEE

    dmurra1 | Fri, 08/20/2010 - 05:50

The glass and stainless steel are classy and functional. I use this press to cold brew coffee overnight to make an iced coffee concentrate. I can get three to four tall glasses of iced coffee using this concentrate.

  • FRENCH PRESS 6-CUP

    gillespie_ann | Tue, 06/08/2010 - 11:58

This has an elegant look, unique to other French Presses I've found. My one complaint is that the wire mesh does not unscrew from the plunger, so it is difficult to clean coffee grounds trapped in it.
