samuellaw178 | Thu, 12/29/2011 - 12:59This moka pot is better looking than your classic moka pot. But it also makes great coffee like the conventional moka pot, no surprise there. Also, keep in mind this 9-cup refers to 9 demitasse(2oz each), not 9 mug(7oz each).

This Aluminum Stove top 9 cup Splendida Mokka pot is great for making strong, aromatic, and flavorful coffee - it requires a bit more attention than an auto drip but the results are worth the extra trouble - these larger ones need more coffee so the coarseness of the grind needs to be increased over the smaller models - the 9 cup size is a bit misleading if you think about cups as being 8 or 12 fl oz - this makes 2 fl oz cups (espresso size) times 9 - so only 18 fl oz at a time.
