REVIEWS & COMMENTS
LA PAVONA
Deep Cello Coffee Roasters | Tue, 01/17/2012 - 19:11I keep searching for good inexpensive gear. I tried this one and it does a decent enough job of preparing the coffee. A few comments. If you can afford a more expensive unit, then that would be a better choice.
The coffee appears chrushed instead of ground. The 1-10 grind setting does not appear to do much to change the grind of the coffee. The ground coffee receptacle is hard to remove from the unit to obtain your coffee.
On the plus side, its quiet, it has a large bin, its attractive, and much better than the previous Braun grinder from yesteryear.
If $70 bucks is what you have to spend, then its a good grinder. It's not anywhere near as good as the Rancilio, but if you are on a budget, its ok and works fine!
GOOD BUT THERE IS BETTER
samuellaw178 | Sun, 12/25/2011 - 15:23This is an ok grinder for brewed coffee, definitely not for espresso. but for brewed coffee, I would go a little higher and get Maestro or Capresso infinity that performs better in getting the best from beans.
PRACTICAL
EricBNC | Fri, 12/23/2011 - 22:54this is a good starter grinder for someone looking to make the switch from pre ground coffee to whole bean coffee but doesn't want to break the bank.
NOT BAD
Wakeknot | Sun, 11/06/2011 - 09:35much better than a blade grinder for brewed coffee.
