Aluminum Stovetop 9-Cup is an Italian-made traditional stovetop coffee brewer in an aluminum body with a bakelite handle. It is 10” high with a smooth clean interior. Replacement parts are always available.
This model is available in five different sizes, ranging from 1-cup to 12-cup. It’s important to remember that to Europeans, an espresso “cup” is a 2-oz. measure. A 12 cup capacity is really only equivalent to three 8 oz. cups. ROASTe recommends that its customers purchase at least 1 size larger model than they think they need; our customers have been happiest with the larger Italian stovetops to compensate for the small European-sized cup measurements.

samuellaw178 | Thu, 12/29/2011 - 11:27If you're getting this, make sure it's the version that you want. It can make about 18oz strong moka pot coffee in one go. However, keep in mind, these only work best at its capacity. If you get this to make 3 cup, it's not gonna work very well.

EricBNC | Thu, 12/29/2011 - 10:39These Aluminum Stove top nine cup Mokka pots are great for making strong, aromatic, and flavorful coffee - they require a bit more attention than an auto drip but the results are worth the extra trouble - the larger ones need more coffee so the coarseness of the grind needs to be increased over the smaller models - the 9 cup size is a bit misleading if you think about cups as being 8 or 12 fl oz - this makes 2 fl oz cups (espresso size) times 9 - 18 fl oz.
