weierlu | Wed, 04/28/2010 - 13:58The ground is not fine enough so the espresso made out of it doesn't have satisfactory crema, and the taste is mediocre at best (better than Lazzava though). I have been searching for a cheaper version of Illy but have so far failed after a year's effort. Illy's fine ground dark roast is the only one passing my criteria for both taste and crema, but seeing its pricing doubled over the past couple years reminds me of the housing bubble :-(
