    This coffee brand is one of our household favorites. We usually buy the Aroma Rood, but this time we wanted to try something new.
    I gave the coffee 4/5 cups because I am not a huge fan of dark roasts. But this cup of dark roast coffee was very smooth and not as bitter as I would expect from a dark roast, like just say Starbucks. We like our coffee strong, but it was still very smooth, easy to drink, yet dark. I'd buy it again just to change things up a bit.

    The intense blend is better than the regular one ...I think any way. I had this at a restaurant I went to and loved it so I asked them for the name. I ordered but it really didn't taste as good as the restaurant but it was still good.

    Nice flavor, but not a s bold as I had expected with the description of "Intense". It does remind me of my visits to the Netherlands when my grandmother made this coffee every afternoon. Fond memories.

    I had a my first cup of Douwe Egbert while on vacation in Alaska. It was amazing! I came home went online and ordered some. I was so excited when it came in the mail. It was great! Brought back memories!

    I had Douwe Egberts coffee for the first time at Susquehanna University in PA. I loved it (even though thinking about SU brings back some bad memories!). I can't find it anywhere in the grocery stores where I live, so I was excited to have it delivered. It is just as good as I remember it! Very smooth and rich and strong, which is exactly how I like my coffee.

    First enjoyed it while at the South Point Hotel & Casino in L V. Last year. The waittress told us the name which we wrote down. When we returned home we looked it up on the computer and ordered six bags. Thought it was a little pricy but found you only use half as much to make a pot of great coffee. We now order it by the case.

    I had this coffee on a KLM flight to Amsterdam back in the 90's Recently, I befriended a Dutch woman online and mentioned how good the coffee was on the flight. She immediately mentioned Douwe Egberts coffee. I was online the next day looking for it and I wasn't disappointed. It is exactly as I remember it! A full body flavor unmatched in my humble opinion. It will have me coming back for more.
