speedstar | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 08:26I love Grindz. I use this on all of my grinders once a month or so. Gives great easy results. Just make sure to run a sacrifice shot through afterwards to get rid of the small amount of residual taste from the Grindz.
CLEANING A GRINDER
broseph | Thu, 04/28/2011 - 01:12Grindz pellets are made of a rice/wheat mixture. You run them though your grinder to clean it up--in theory.
While Grindz helps to remove rancid oils, this is no substitute for a little elbow grease. With a brush and a vacuum cleaner, most grinders can get clean as a whistle within 5 minutes.
If there's a bad aftertaste to your coffee, chances are good that a dirty grinder is to blame.
