The one that I received actually looks quite a bit different from the picture and has a longer handle, a more pronounced angle and best of all - it has a guard, preventing the hot water from running down the handle.
I have a similar one at home at it works like a charm. Before the first coffee of the day I use it, and lots of dark stuff is coming out...I tried other shapes (half circle, etc) but this one worked the best.
