PROBLEMS WITH FINELY GROUND COFFEE
John_LaBriola | Mon, 09/05/2011 - 13:10I just received this coffee maker and a case of coffee last week. The sprayer in this coffee maker is too powerful with a full load of finely ground coffee (in my case Douwe Egberts Real Intense Dark Roast Ground Coffee). The coffee is ground so finely that it almost has the consistency of powder---to capture more of its intense but smooth flavor. The force of the sprayer blows partially soaked coffee grounds all over the machine and the counter---leaving me with a soggy mess...but a few cups of delicious coffee.
My only solution has been to fill the filter with one-half to 2/3rd's (pushing my luck a bit) of the coffee but the Bunn is only designed to make a MAXIMUM of 10 5-oz cups so I have to make two brews. This is not satisfactory for my wife and myself. I will have to look around for another coffee maker or perhaps a courser grind of coffee. This coffee maker seems very good...in theory, but it is a disaster with fine grinds and full loads. It is too bad that the product designers couldn't have slowed the flow of water for a few seconds at the beginning of the brew (until the fine coffee grounds could be soaked) and then let her rip.

BUNN AUTO-DRIP
broseph | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 10:16This is the machine that my folks have. They originally thought about getting a Technivorm, which is well-known for its ability to get water up to a good brewing temp, but they felt it was way too expensive. They settled on this and couldn't be happier. The coffee's brewed really hot so all the good flavors are there. And similar to Baratza, Bunn has a reputation for having great customer service. Fortunately they haven't had to take advantage of that yet.
REALLY NICE DRIP BREWER
jbviau | Tue, 06/07/2011 - 12:18I agree the price here is in need of adjustment here though.
BUNN COFFEE
julieinco5 | Tue, 04/26/2011 - 12:08We love our Bunn! The water is always the right temp, and the coffee perfect! We have purchased 2, one to replace the church's horrible "mr coffee"! The only complaint we have had is easily fixed by a call to Bunn, who have excellent customer service!

Rtrolley | Sun, 10/10/2010 - 09:11Quality of product is excellent as is ease of use. Appearence and
visual appeal of product are equally excellent.Time of preparation to finish is 3 minute or less.Ecellent product--somewhat over priced compared to local department stores.
