  • GREAT WAY TO FIND YOUR FAVORITE

    lajh804 | Fri, 03/09/2012 - 23:46

Chazzano is a great brand of coffee. If you are having a hard time deciding what roast to get this is a great option. This is what I did at Christmas time (and I used it as a stocking stuffer in my husband's stocking). We were able to find out our favorite, and the coffee lasted us a good amount of time!

  • TRY EM BEFORE YOU BUY EM

    Steve Lord | Thu, 01/19/2012 - 20:29

The sampler was well recieved and the coffees were excellent. A couple of the items were not to our particular taste and by not having to buy a pound, I can cross them off instead of throwing them out (or putting them in the 'only when the good stuff is gone' bin).

Very good coffee, obviously fresh! Good selection of different profile coffee that would be a good start for someone getting into coffee.

I loved the coffee selection in this kit, it has a great mix of robust light and dark coffees and all the coffees had smooth taste and no after bite.

  • GREAT IDEA

    dcrumrine | Tue, 09/13/2011 - 17:13

I'm so glad I added this Introduction to Gourmet Coffee Kit to my recent order. It's a great way to try coffee you may not have considered ordering. I'm a lover of the New Guinea coffee and really hesitated to vary from my preference. I was pleasantly surprised by the Mexico Chiapa coffee. I've always stayed away from Mexican beans but this coffee was great. Even went back and drank the cold coffee left in the pot.

  • TASTING NOTES

    dkla | Fri, 09/16/2011 - 12:27

So far I have tried the Costa Rica La Amistad beans. I ground them using my Capresso cool bean grinder and brewed the coffee using my french press. The beans were fresh, high quality, and I enjoyed a smooth cup of coffee this morning. However, the flavor of this Costa Rica coffee was not as enjoyable to me as coffees I have had from other countries. I look forward to trying the other samples that came with this gourmet coffee kit 5-pack.

Just tried the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe. Great aroma, smooth, good quality. But had a burnt or bitter taste. Wouldn't re-order.

Honduras Santa Rosa: not as much aroma with these beans. Pleased with the quality and smoothness, however taste didn't knock my socks off.

  • SAMPLING FOR A NEW CUSTOMER

    DianaAntonucci | Fri, 09/09/2011 - 12:00

Appreciated the opportunity to sample 5 different beans. My only concern was the absence of 'roast date' on the vacuum sealed bags....not that that makes too much of a difference in a home that goes through coffee so quickly!

  • NICE VARIETY

    benjaminstocksdale | Sun, 09/04/2011 - 10:09

The variety of this pack was really nice. A wide range of flavors but nothing too extreme. For the price, is it very much worth it. But if you are looking for exotic or specific flavors, you may want to venture elsewhere. Good coffee.

  • INTRODUCTION TO GOURMET COFFEE KIT 5-PACK

    Karrde | Mon, 08/22/2011 - 21:17

This was a pretty cool way to experience a bunch of different coffees. I was split down the middle though. I didn't care for the Mexican coffee and the Ethiopian coffee had a bit of a bad aftertaste to me (although it had a smooth mouth feel). The Papua New Guinea and Honduras Santa Rosa were much more my style. I haven't had the Kenyan yet, so we'll have to see on that one.

I was getting 3-4 cups per sample with an Aeropress, so it seems like a pretty good deal to me.

  • NICE INTRO PACK

    caseyk73 | Wed, 06/29/2011 - 11:56

The only reason I am giving this 4*'s instead of 5*'s is becuase of the 2oz packages, I would have loved to have 3oz of each, 2oz was too much for 1 pot and not enough for 2.

All of the coffes are amazing. My favorites are the Mexican and Kenyan blends, but we enjoyed these coffees way more then expected. This intro pack is a great deal, you will thank yourself for getting it once you have tried all of the flavors.
