Brazen Hazen 100% Kona Coffee - Dark Roast is grown on the Brazen Hazen Coffee Estate, located in Holualoa - just east of Kailua-Kona - on the western slope of the Hualalai volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. The 1900 feet elevation and the local climate of seasonal rainfall and afternoon cloud cover provide superb growing conditions for naturally shade-grown coffee. This area, sitting in the shelter of the Pacific trade winds, produces some of the best coffee in the world.

Brazen Hazen 100% Kona Coffee - Dark Roast is cultivated at 1900 feet in elevation at the Hazen Farm in Holualoa, Hawaii.

Brazen Hazen is available in both dark and medium roasts.  Dark Roast projects a flavor that is a very rich and hearty. In the Medium Roast, the subtle distinctive Kona taste takes center stage as "the roast" takes a step back.

July, 2009: Brazen Hazen was awarded the bronze medal at the Hawaii Coffee Association’s first statewide cupping contest, which was held in Maui.
