The Baratza ESATTO is a brand new accessory designed specifically for use with your Baratza Maestro Plus, Virtuoso or Preciso grinder.

This innovative addition allows you to grind precise dosages of coffee using real-time weight-based control. You can automatically dose ground coffee to within +/- 0.2 g, repeatedly. No more need to manually pre-weigh your beans. The Esatto weighs the ground coffee, then automatically stops the grinder.

      This accessories will go well with Maestro, Virtuoso and Preciso. It will do very nicely for the coffee brewing and you can leave all your coffee in the hopper. No need to weigh your bean every single time. Very neat!

      Weight based dosing is awesome. The Esatto gives this ability to some Baratza grinders. Maybe weight based dosing isn't for everyone, but I find it very convenient.

      this is a neat idea that works well. a scale is an essential piece of espresso gear. I'd love to find a way to use it without the basket though (straight into a portafilter) as then it would be indispensable.

      This scale with it's built in timer turns the Preciso into a timer grinder like the Vario - very slick.

      Works well (haven't needed to calibrate, for example). You *can* single-dose with it and purge afterwards, though it's not quite as easy to do so as it is sans Esatto; nevertheless, you'll find yourself being pushed somewhat toward using the hopper if you didn't before. I enjoy the added precision this accessory gives me but don't love the bulk it adds to my grinder's profile. Will update after a few more weeks of experience.
