Java Jampit is an Indonesian coffee grown on a volcanic mountain in Java. This coffee's unique and flavorful aroma is filled with sweet milk chocolate and maple syrup. It cups very smooth and the finish lingers with chocolate and light lemon notes.

    Awesome coffee!! The Java Jampit had an enjoyable aroma, and was thorough on the tongue without being overbearing. Highly recommend!

    Bagus means "Very Good" in Indonsesian and so is Java Jampit. 1 pull and I was instantly transported to a remote beach in Bali. Far away from the hectic streets of Kuta where large white men are accosted, fondled, and pick pocketed.

    A perfectly balanced roast of epic proportions. When life gets too hectic, brew some Jampit and prepare to be transformed... I give this my highest rating!

    I love a full-bodied cup of coffee, but find that most roasters equate full-bodied with charred coffee. This was definitely not the case with this Java. It was perfect! Great rich chocolately body. Nice work West Bean!

    I made this coffee in my Rancilio espresso machine. It pulled a perfect shot.
    Well balanced, nice body, chocolaty aftertaste.
    I will be buying this coffee again.

    This coffee is a keeper. A great morning starter. Smoooth yet still bold with flavor. Definetly not for amatuers. But I highly recommend it to the pros.

    im not a big fan of eastren pacific coffees, but this coffee stands out . low acidity,very smooth taste,hints of chocolate,mellow finish.no earthy taste what so ever.a very good coffee.

    The one characteristic that really stands out with this coffee is the body. I've never had coffee with more body than this. The roasting was very even. The flavor isn't extremely complex, which makes it a good candidate for blending with another origin that needs more body. I haven't tasted the hint of lemon yet. Another reviewer mentioned that the packaging is just a paper bag and this is an exaggeration. The inside is lined with foil and there is a one way valve. This also seems to be the new standard among roasters from Four Barrel to True Beans. Perhaps it is perceived as environmentally friendly.

    Anyway, if you're looking for extreme body with low acidity (smooth), you should check out this Javan. If you are accustomed to the complexity of a Kenyan, you might be slightly disappointed.

    The first thing I noticed about this coffee was the strong smell. I could smell it even before I opened the box. The mail lady said it being in her truck made her crave coffee! When I opened the box I could see why – it came in a plain brown bag with stickers on the bag giving the name of the roaster and the type of coffee. I am not too sure what I think about that (I do not think I like the idea very much). I know the picture of the coffee shows it being in a brown bag but I did not realize it was paper.

    The coffee itself is a real pleasure. It is mild and very smooth - no harshness. Delicious. I gave a cup to a friend who does not drink that much coffee and he enjoyed it as well. It is a good coffee to "start" someone who does not drink coffee (or that much of coffee) off with. It is also a good mellow coffee to end a hectic day with.
