    The twilight blend tends to be on the bland side if brewed using a paper filter method. It definitely becomes much more acceptable as a traditional french press but still only received average feedback from those who tried it.

    I like Velton's coffees and was looking for a dark roast for drip for my wife. She loves dark roasts and I like them, but lean towards lighter ones. She has enjoyed it very much. I like it, too, in spite of my leanings towards lighter roasts and towards espresso. If you like dark roasts this is definitely a blend to try out.

    I used this exclusively as drip, and was not disappointed. Probably the best dark roast that I have had in a long long time. The flavors are deep and complex, which read just like the tasting notes deep chocolate, a touch of spice and deep cherry.

    IF you like your coffee dark- this is it! This is the second time I ordered this coffee and I think I will have to keep this in the pantry for the days I need/want the dark roast. Great taste from the french press. My palate isn't as refined as some so I'm not going to say that it tastes like mocha or rasberry or any of that but it really satisfies when you need a good full bodied cup of coffee.

    I've been enjoying my first shipment of Twilight Blend for hte past two weeks and I get more impressed with this coffee each day. If you don't like dark roasted coffees, don't be afraid of the roaster's description; it is not over poweringly dark. It is a well balanced and smooth coffee with notes of dark chocolate. To me, it has a clean finish and makes a good morning coffee or afternoon pick me up.
