  • EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

    Son Ton | Mon, 05/21/2012 - 16:06

I have the same dripper but in made from plastic instead of ceramic. It is an excellent product and produce excellent coffee. Make sure to also buy the Hario branded filter to go along with this. If you forget, you can use a Melita style cone filer but it does not work as well as the Hario one.

  • DELIVERS SATISFYING RESULTS

I also use the 01 size for single portions but the 02 comes in handy when I'm making coffee for 2. You might be able to squeeze out small portions (8 oz) for 3 out of this thing but you need to loosen up your grind setting to get the proper flow through. Coffee pours through fairly quick compared to other pour over brewers so tweak the variables (grind size, dose and water) to get the appropriate brew time. Highly recommended if you have the patience for pour over brewing.

    rmctam | Fri, 03/09/2012 - 11:48

This coffee dripper is very well made, easy to use, easy to clean, ceramic quality is great. I really like the way it brings out the coffee favor. After many months of using it, still very happy with it.

  • WELL MADE BREWER THAT

    avaserfi | Thu, 03/08/2012 - 10:18

Well made brewer that provides a great cup of coffee. Easier to brew with than a Chemex because it is slightly more forgiving. Nice inexpensive way to get into pour over coffee.

  • CLEARITY

    intrepid510 | Fri, 02/24/2012 - 16:22

Great product, and a great seller.

The only reason for the four star as oppose to five star review si that you do need a pouring kettle for this maker. The bottom hole is the size of nickle and you need to be able to pour expertly. When done well you get a real clear cup that is not really made anywhere else, I think this is paired well with brighter coffees. Also use the Hario Filters they are triangles not your normal 04 ones from the grocer.

  • HARIO V60

    yeahyeah | Sun, 10/23/2011 - 00:57

This cone lets you control extraction better than some pour over cones with smaller holes. The catch is that you have to be more careful with your grind and your pouring technique to keep from under or over-extracting. All in all a solid dripper capable of producing excellent coffee.

I am impressed with the quality of the finished product - this bears no resemblance to a cheap ceramic cone. I look forward to making coffee with it.

  • COFFEE DRIPPER

    dpablo19 | Mon, 09/05/2011 - 20:28

They use these at my local coffee establishment. It makes consistently great coffee. There are occassional issues with extraction times, but the flavors come out clean and without a heavy paper-like taste. The best part about these drippers are their ease of use and cleanliness.

  • I LOVE THIS METHOD OF BREWING COFFEE!

    spelt85 | Wed, 08/31/2011 - 08:50

I love this method of brewing coffee! Take your time to learn the proper coffee to water ratios and the right grind, and in no time you'll be enjoying a great cup of coffee. By the way, you end up making a lot of coffee for your friends - one of mine is on his way to my office to grab a cup before he gets to work because the coffee is not very good over there. Enjoy!!!

  • FIRST TIME POUR OVER

    bradlyf | Sat, 08/20/2011 - 14:24

    Great little dripper!

I bought some really cheap beans to practice my technique first, but it wouldn't bloom and the coffee tasted terrible. I then tried some Sightglass beans, and it made a world of a difference!

  • I LOVE IT! THIS IS THE BEST

    applesoup | Mon, 08/01/2011 - 23:56

I love it! This is the best coffee drip ever! I like more than any other coffee machine, even better than espresso machine.
It really brings you the good flavor of your coffee. If you use really fresh bean, you really need this to feel the authentic aroma.

  • HARIO COFFEE DRIPPER V60 02 CERAMIC WHITE

    mark.mooney76 | Fri, 07/29/2011 - 02:47

Really love this pour-over coffee dripper. Once I perfected the brewing technique with the Hario, it took my morning cup of coffee to a whole new level. Watching some You Tube videos was very helpful. Makes a better tasting brew than most of the auto-drip makers and I save money and time not stopping every morning at the local coffee house. It takes a little a little extra effort to make but it's well worth it.

  • LOVE!

Coffee drinking will never be the same! I usually order espresso drinks from cafes when I'm near one. Now I've become a regular coffee drinker with this manual dripper. It's my morning ritual. It's easy to clean and easy to use.

    sleepyxsusu | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 11:27

i love love love love this! easy to use and the coffee comes out great. uses the hario paper dripper but i've also found that normal filters work too. i ran out of the hario one and didn't have time to get it (as i can only get them online) and so i used a normal filter and worked fine. It takes a little longer to brew, but the wait is worth it.

  • EXCELLENT

    jbviau | Wed, 05/25/2011 - 16:33

I've truly enjoyed every pourover coffee I've had brewed using the Hario. However, a local specialty coffee shop prefers the Bonmac drippers (not sure why). Also, I'm curious to see whether the new Kalita Wave dripper will give this Hario a run for its $$. Time will tell, I guess.

  • HARIO DRIPPER

    broseph | Fri, 05/20/2011 - 04:13

This particular dripper works best when brewing at least 10 oz. of coffee with a standard dose of coffee. A lower dose is doable but would be done better with the size 01 dripper. It takes Hario filters--arguably the best paper filters around. There's a certain mystique to this but I haven't found it difficult. to use at all, although to be fair I had experience with all pour-over devices (Kalita, Beehouse, Chemex) before coming to this. This is the one I nearly always use when I do pourover nowadays...I give it my highest recommendation.
