REVIEWS & COMMENTS
I LIKE THAT IT CAN GO ON GAS
fincawhd | Wed, 05/23/2012 - 10:10I like that it can go on gas and electric and induction. It pours a little more nicely than the Bonavita in my opinion, not a major difference. Bonavita definitely the better value.
EXCELLENT KETTLE!
Son Ton | Mon, 05/21/2012 - 16:08This is a very stylish kettle. If you are into manual dripper such as the Hario V60, this kettle is a must. Its special neck design ensure that the flow of water is precise and gentle so that you can manipulate the flow of your coffee. This should last a long time as well. However, it is a little pricey!
GREAT DRIPPER!
intrepid510 | Thu, 05/10/2012 - 00:53These are the gold standard among coffee pouring kettles, makes it easy to use a pour over method to get your daily fix. They are well made and easy to use. They are in the middle range of price and good all around pick, cannot go wrong.
A GREAT KETTLE. WONDERFUL
avaserfi | Thu, 03/08/2012 - 10:20A great kettle. Wonderful control, comfortable, looks nice and holds the right amount of water for a Chemex. Very happy with the purchase, even though it isn't cheap.
GREAT QUALITY
samuellaw178 | Sat, 12/24/2011 - 18:36This kettle looks pretty and give you a good control especially for pourover. Works great for non-coffee use also if you wish. It's kinda pricy but well worth the money if you're looking for a pourover kettle that looks good and works great.
HARIO BUONO
yeahyeah | Sat, 12/03/2011 - 23:40Good control over pour speed and location. Honestly, the coffee doesn't really taste any better than with my old kettle but this kettle makes the process of pouring so much easier. The metal is thin but the quality of construction is high and I expect the kettle to last quite awhile. I'm using the kettle directly on my gas range.
VERY NICE KETTLE
EricBNC | Sun, 10/30/2011 - 15:44If you are into pour over coffee like me then one of these needs to be on your short list.
PERFECT!
windwish | Thu, 09/08/2011 - 11:53I love everything about this kettle. It was the best price compared to other sites and free shipping!
I LOVE POUR OVER COFFEE!
spelt85 | Wed, 08/31/2011 - 08:54I love this method of brewing coffee! Take your time, learn the proper coffee to water ratios, and in no time you'll be enjoying a great cup of coffee. My drip kettle came with a leak at the base of the spout and rather than wait for a new one to come, I am sealing it on my own with a cold weld.
BUONO KETTLE
rita | Tue, 08/30/2011 - 19:59I really had a difficult time justifying buying this kettle but I finally decided that I would give it try. It works very well. It allows more control when pouring. And I actually like the style. It's worth the price if you are really into pour over.
JUST GET IT. YOU'LL BE HAPPY
bradlyf | Sat, 08/20/2011 - 14:26This really makes pour over a pleasure. Water goes exactly where you want it, when you want it.
HARIO BUONO
penrod_25 | Wed, 08/03/2011 - 19:34Works fine, but I don't really like the look as much as some of the more expensive kettles, the finish is not as nice as my kalita kettle, and the pour spout is a little thicker resulting in less precision in the pour than the kalita
V60 DRIP KETTLE
mrbjvb | Thu, 06/30/2011 - 15:46I put off buying this kettle because it is kind of pricey. It is well worth it! With a little practice it will greatly help you improve your pour over coffee brewing. To do any job right you need the proper tool.
I FEEL IT IS A NECESSITY FOR
jorimarie7 | Wed, 06/29/2011 - 13:18I feel it is a necessity for pour over coffee! The spout is difficult to find on other kettles, but it gives you the control you need to make great coffee. Some of the complaints about this kettle is that it is light and flimsy. The kettle is deceptively light especially if you are use to the weight of other kettles, but it is actually very sturdy.
BETTER THAN EXPECTED
jbviau | Wed, 05/25/2011 - 16:20I've seen a few comments online complaining/nitpicking about this kettle's build quality. After having handled a few of them, I don't see anything to complain about aside from the price. They're not flimsy or particularly thin-walled.
KETTLE
broseph | Fri, 05/20/2011 - 04:18There are cheaper gooseneck kettles and there are more expensive ones. There are better and there are worse ones. This unit by Hario is the one that's most easily available right not in the States and it's a solid choice. Compatible with all kinds of burners and has good balance and control. Someone who's in coffee professionally or who is a hard-core enthusiast might prefer a different kettle...but I think the vast majority of people who do or would like to do pourover at home would be more than pleased with this piece of equipment. Certainly not necessary but very, very helpful.
