Red Barn Decaf Blend, our most popular offering, is the coffee we serve in our stores when a customer asks for a decaf “regular”. A blend of coffees from Central and South America, it’s medium roasted to produce a smooth, balanced cup that is excellent with milk and sugar. No chemicals touch the beans in the decaffeination process because the Swiss Water Process is used.

Our Decaffination Process is the Swiss Water Process, which means no chemicals are used - coffee remains crisp, full-bodied and wonderfully aromatic. This is a proprietary process that first soaks green coffee beans in water, then separates the water from the beans, removes the caffeine, then re-circulates the water on the same beans to allow them to re-absorb some of the flavors. The beans are dried and shipped to us to roast. This method is superior because no chemicals ever touch the beans.
