Parisi’s Espresso Siciliano is blended as our own Southern Italian homage, reminiscent of the cafes of Palermo.
Cupping Notes: Syrupy mouthfeel with good balance and crisp acidity. Nice fruit, perhaps plum in the aroma, raisin and fig, with hints of caramel and chocolate chip cookies.
Origins: Colombia, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Mexico
Roast: medium/dark

LOVE IT!
karlabh | Wed, 09/28/2011 - 16:20I have to have my cups of coffee to get me motivated about the day, and this coffee definitely gets me going in the a.m.
I mix it with a little bit of general foods vanilla caramel latte, yummy. I have passed the word to several of my fellow coffee drinkers. When my coffee gets low, I will re-order. And this will make an excellent Xmas gifts.

anniemully | Wed, 09/07/2011 - 10:05I was very impressed! My daugher and I made a pot as soon as it arrived and it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely order again.
MELLOW AND BEST BREWED
pammyjo1 | Sun, 07/10/2011 - 14:14The flavor of this coffee is very mellow, so when fairly stongly made it is quite good, but we prefer it as brewed coffee rather than espresso coffee. To us it tastes nothing like espresso should taste, though it's certainly OKAY. I had it both as double shot espresso (we mix with frothed milk, not straight) and brewed. I like it, but the espresso beans we're used to are a darker bean with more "punch." Just a matter of taste, I guess.
ONLY FLAW WITH THIS ORDER: I ordered ground and got whole bean. Told Roaste and he asked what they can do to keep my business. Since it wasn't obvious to him, the answer is: offer to send the right order. However to his credit, I decided to keep it as a brew bean I grind myself vs. send it back.
YUM!
infojules | Fri, 05/13/2011 - 21:29This is a great coffee. I've been making it in my Aeropress and it's just as good as an Americano from my favorite coffee shop. I will most definitely order more!
FOUND A NEW FAVORITE!
bh_aragorn | Fri, 04/01/2011 - 12:26On my quest to find and try out new espresso blends, I discovered Parisi espresso roasters here on ROASTe. Curious as I am, I ordered all four blends available, and a week later, I got a large package with the four 12oz packs of freshly roasted espresso beans. First one to try: Espresso Siciliano. First shot: Wow. After a little bit of grinder tuning, the second shot was even more amazing. Since then, I got a little addicted, and I managed to go through the 12oz pack in less than a week. This could well be my new favorite espresso blend! It's nice and bold, full-bodied and well balanced. A nice little acidity, no bitterness. Pure awesomeness. I'm left with high hopes for the other three blends and looking forward to cracking the next 12oz batch!
