kublaconn | Tue, 08/10/2010 - 17:34This coffee bean was extremely aromatic. The aroma filled the room and was delightful. I must say that my preferences are for a very strong (french-pressed) Columbian. I personally was disappointed in the strength of taste. I tried it coarse-ground to fine ground, in the french press, and in the Keurig machine. No matter which manner of brewing, I was unable to create the strength of a Columbian bean. If your preference is for a mild tasting coffee, then this World Blend coffee bean would be ideal.

Theburton | Fri, 07/30/2010 - 16:11In all honestly I have to grade this coffee with a solid B+. It is enjoyable but just not a blend that I can say I am in love with; I enjoy more of an espresso for my daily blend. Although I admit I have an ongoing love affair with the Kickapoo cofee Driftless Morning. However I digress back to the Mahogany Roasters World Blend the packaging is awesome really like the resealablity. The actually coffee however good failed to meet my A grade coffee standards. Test one can I drink it black and enjoy it and have that happy sensation I would have to give it a 7 out of 10. Test two does cream and sugar make it exceptionally palatable we are going better more of an 8 out of 10. Its still on my brew list just behind the other beans that are in my cupboard. I am willing to give it a second day of judgment just not today. Also I will most likely try additional Mahogany Roasters just other blends.

Tom | Sun, 07/25/2010 - 19:04This blend is a medium roast that is likely to please most people. It arrived just 2 days past roast from Virginia to Pennsylvania. I tried it first on day 3 in a coffee dripper and really enjoyed the bright flavors it produced. I also tried this in a vac pot brewer and again was impressed by the balance of this roast. I also like that it came packaged in a resealable zip bag with air release valve. With such a great price point for a hand crafted product, I'm sure I'll be trying this and other roasts from Mahogany in the future.
