Gaggia has long been the epitome of Italian espresso heritage, and Gaggia has included all the features a coffee enthusiast could want on this quality bean-to-cup coffee machine. The Gaggia Brera automatic coffee machine allows you to brew your coffee the barista way in the comfort of your own home with its compact design, ease of use and its energy saving capabilities, while the Gaggia Brera automatically switches to standby mode after one hour to save you energy when not in use, using less than one watt per hour when in standby mode, while the twin boiler reduces the waiting time between coffee brewing and steam output to just a few seconds. Enjoying quality coffee in the comfort of your own home is easy with the compact and stylish Gaggia Brera bean-to-cup coffee machine. This compact and lightweight machine comes with an electronic LED control panel, a 250g bean hopper and a 15 bar pressure pump for professional results. It has an integrated ceramic coffee grinder, and is easy to clean due to the removable brewing unit. It also has a good-sized water tank and a stainless steel boiler. In short, the Gaggia Brera is an effortless and efficient bean-to-cup coffee machine and would make a great addition to any kitchen. GREAT (on Gaggia Brera Espress...)

    amof | Thu, 09/29/2011

Works great for our morning coffee. Haven't quite got the hang of using the steam wand yet like I could with my old Krups or Solis machines - so can't comment on that. Have only managed to approximate a latte, rather than get good froth. I'm sure I've just got some learning to do. However very happy with the performance of the rest of the machine so far (touch wood). Also the size is great - doesn't take up too much of a kitchen bench. Now the downside to this is you are refilling the water (and beans) more frequently. But that's a trade off I'm happy with.

EXCELLENT MACHINE BUT A LITTLE NOIS... (on Gaggia Brera Espress...)

    mbysf | Thu, 09/08/2011

I bought this as my wife was continually moaning since her best friend bought an equivalent machine at www.delonghicoffeemachines.org. We use it everyday and this is much better than the Delonghi, my wife now thinks I can do no wrong and my life is alot better thanks to this coffee maker.

GAGGIA BRERA ESPRESSO MAKER (on Gaggia Brera Espress...)

    mvittorelli | Tue, 04/26/2011

I just recently received this machine as a Xmas gift. I use it daily and I love it. Makes a great cup of Espresso long or short with just a press of a button. As long as it is filled with water and beans and used ground container is empty you are set to go. Very easy to operate and maintain. Well worth the $$. Looks really classy compared to other machines. Compact size and nice stainless steel front panel. You can access all the compartments from the front as well. No need to pull machine out to refill water, etc. Beans are added on the top and it has a sealed cover to keep them fresh. You can't go wrong with this one.

GOOD GRINDER (on Nuova Simonelli Grin...)

    matt.holstege | Thu, 03/01/2012

When I switched to an Oscar from my Silvia, my wife wanted to make sure the grinder matched as well for aesthetic reasons. After playing with a Grinta, I agreed to sell my Rocky w/ the doser and replace it with the Grinta. I actually find that it makes less of a mess then my Rocky. The doser could really make a mess. The grinder performs well and I have had a seamless transition from the Rocky to the Grinta. The most noticeable difference is the difference in weight. The Rocky weighs a ton! I have no complaints with the ABS plastic at all.

OKAY GRINDER (on Nuova Simonelli Grin...)

    samuellaw178 | Fri, 12/30/2011

Grinder is a very important key to exceptional espresso. And this grinder seems to do it at a acceptable level. Some reported that it makes mess and has some clumps in the chute. It has stepped settings but is just small enough for proper adjustment. Not so bad of a grinder for entry level.

NICE GRINDER (on Nuova Simonelli Grin...)

this is a nice heavy duty grinder for many years of use on anyone's counter for espresso or regular coffee - doserless is a nice touch too.
