Overall, I think what struck me the most during my first round with this coffee (brewed using an Eva Solo) was its aromatic complexity and sweetness. Prior to grinding, the beans smelled very sweet, with a sort of Fruity Pebbles aroma verging on blueberry. The dry aroma of the ground coffee was more like grilled pineapple. After brewing, I picked up on a distinct but ultimately fleeting jasmine tea note in the wet aroma as well as the return of berries and something deeper/darker that I had trouble identifying. Flavorwise, all of these influences were noticeable in addition to a citrusy (lemon-orange) acidity and the late emergence of milk chocolate (more smelled than tasted). I found this to be a really clean cup with a sweet, lingering finish, good body, and a shimmering combination of aroma and flavor that made it hard to sip slowly. I'm looking forward to the next round and to experimenting with a few other brew methods!
