PEACE TREATY THROUGH BALANCED COFFEE
Coffee Drinker | Sat, 12/31/2011 - 14:24I ordered this after reading about the hints of carmel, honey, fruit, toasted grains and chocolate. My husband didn't want to try it when it arrived because of all the "distractions" added to it. Well, we each have a pleasant smile on our faces like a cat that just ate a bird (apologies to bird lovers). Its smooth, bitter free and underwhelming hints of other sweet flavors, make this a great compromise for those who like their coffee as nature intended vs coffee that was hit with a snow storm of sweetness. So, if you are ordering this for your own chocoholic collection, you may be disappointed that the sweet flavors are only sprinkled in.
SLIGHTLY DISSAPOINTED
pokeypine | Thu, 11/10/2011 - 03:45I was a little disappointed with the Carmen Estate 1750 as I had a hard time getting anything in a way of flavor or aroma despite varying the grind sizes and water temperature. This is true for both French press and clever brewer.
PANAMA ELIDA ROCKS
bdcline | Mon, 11/07/2011 - 21:10Note: I ordered this Panama, but it was out of stock so they sent me the Panama Elida Natural, which was absolutely spectacular! Exquisite coffee with berries and rum.
VERY NICE COFFEE!
EricBNC | Wed, 10/05/2011 - 18:06The beans are starting to show promise with a bit of spiciness in the dry aroma and a hint of cherry in the wet aroma. at less than 24 hours old this one is not yet at it's peak but already there is white grape initially (and throughout) layering into graham cracker and brown sugar in the middle before leading into a very long semi sweet chocolate and white grape finish. The body is medium light, delicate, and silky. As it cools the cup pops more with the white grape and graham cracker - what an interesting yet delicious mix!
BOLD AROMA; CLEAN, SATISFYING FLAVOR.
dowlic | Mon, 09/12/2011 - 05:58Terrific combination of bright acidity and smooth rich flavor. No off notes. A nice morning brew. It keeps its flavor in a carafe and doesn't taste old, even at the end of the day.
DELICIOUS
Doug Pickett | Mon, 06/20/2011 - 23:23Tasted of caramel, chocolate and honey. Wonderful coffee brewed in a French Press. Will definitely order again.
VERY ENJOYABLE, BUT NO MORE
emily.milan | Fri, 05/20/2011 - 09:31Very enjoyable, but no more so than cheaper products on this site.

PANAMA CARMEN ESTATE
billlyons | Sun, 09/05/2010 - 12:26This was a pretty good tasting coffee but a little bland for my taste. The first cup I mistakenly made with water that was not hot enough and I could not finish the cup. The second try was much better.
On the other hand, my wife loved the coffee so I will probably be buying this again. As always, Klatch coffee arrives within 2 days of roasting and is always fresh.
THIS WAS A VERY GOOD COFFEE.
aknight165 | Wed, 09/01/2010 - 11:38This was a very good coffee. I had a lot of fun with this one. Once my grinder was dialed in it was all smooth sailing. Some hints of fruit in the cup. I swear I tasted some strawberries in there. I would buy this again and heartily recommend it.
WELL BALANCED
awest27 | Fri, 05/14/2010 - 07:54A well balanced cup, sweet, clean aftertaste, and slight hints of chocolate.
