Karrde | Thu, 11/17/2011 - 22:06This was an interesting blend. While I personally didn't like it as much as some of Klatch's other offerings, it wasn't bad by any means. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. Since everyone else I served it to liked it I'm rounding it to a 4.

Shipping was very fast (I expect nothing else from Klatch having ordered their coffee before). I made a pot, kicked back to try my first cup. It has an interesting smell to it. It is sharp. Not a bad smell - just strong and sharp. It could be smelled across the room and it spread as it was brewing. It is a very strong coffee. It is good and has an interesting flavor to it. The flavor matches the sharp smell. It is not bad - just distinctive. I liked it better with a teaspoon of sugar in it. My dad drank it with half and half and said it enhanced the flavor. This is not a coffee that I would drink just black but with sugar and/or cream it is delicious. This coffee would be a good choice to use in cooking or baking too. The flavor will hold up!
