REVIEWS & COMMENTS
PRETTY GOOD
cgs60r7 | Wed, 12/28/2011 - 11:03The fair trade is pretty good, it is very drinkable as an everyday espresso. I prefer the bella, but I would still order this again
LOVE IT!
celadontea | Wed, 11/09/2011 - 21:13This espresso was really delicious. I don't have the best tools to make it but I used a stove top espresso maker and it came out just fine. I am glad it's also organic, as that is increasingly important to me lately when it comes to coffee. Klatch does their organic versions right without compromising flavor and quality.
MAKES A VERY NICE ESPRESSO
QUESTER | Sun, 10/09/2011 - 07:09Lots of crema, lots of body, and lots of flavor. And its organic and fair trade too!
GREAT BEANS!!
overlandsea | Tue, 09/13/2011 - 13:54We love this for espresso! Definitely the best beans we have found for our Saeco Barista (nothing fancy, I know). We prefer this to Vivace for our purposes at least, though one of our favorite coffee shops can certainly do some great things with Vivace. We use these beans for soy, hemp, and regular lattes and they also make a first class americano. Very versatile blend! Definitely recommended and love that it's fair trade and organic.
GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO BELLE
speedstar | Tue, 06/28/2011 - 09:54I have gotten this one a few times over Belle. It is a nice alternative to mix things up. Give it a try.
DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER
FZ1 | Mon, 06/13/2011 - 21:59I ran this up against Belle quite a few times; I consistently came to the same conclusion - I prefer over Belle for a first/only cap in the morning. It may not be as balanced as Belle, but has a dense flavor with outstanding punch thru milk. My caps are about a 1:2 ratio. Deep, rich flavors. Will probably keep as my "go to" for a bit. If you like a punch to get you going - I think you'll be pleased.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE COFFEES!
jmgarner01 | Fri, 01/07/2011 - 10:12Anything from Klatch is outstanding! This coffee is no exception. Makes a great espresso!
KLATCH HOUSE
pgreene | Fri, 08/27/2010 - 23:52A nice darker (for me) roast - sweet with a dark cherry note.
PRETTY GOOD....
xprzzo | Tue, 05/25/2010 - 21:49but not quite there - this maybe me though.... I can't follow their recommendations - 20g, 200deg - I have no idea how to fit 20g into a double basket without grinding soooo fine that the machine will just completely choke.... 18 is all I can do and then it is pulling very very tight shots - 1.2-1.3 oz with 32sec (I always add 6 due to the pre-infusion of my E61 grouphead).
All in all, nice, but not as sweet and not as smooth as I had hoped for - Klatch's world best and Vivace's Dolce are the better match for people that like the Northern Italian Dolces....
works well in a milk drink
