Decaf Klatch House Espresso Coffee, the decaffeinated version of Klatch House Espresso, is a rich, syrupy sweet chocolate espresso blend which wins competitions repeatedly. In 2003 this blend of five beans of renowned Indonesian and American coffees helped Heather Perry win the U.S. Barista Championship. Klatch House Espresso, the hallmark of a simple chocolate body with lots of crema, leads to a dried fruit finish.

    While it's a pretty good decaf on it's standard, I actually can taste a little decaf taste from the coffee when pulled as espresso. Maybe it will do much better as a French Press or drip. I have run out of Black Tie Decaf after a week and so I went on to try on different decaf. This is the one that I've ordered. Honestly, I can't say it's bad per se, but I much prefer black tie decaf over this.

    I spent a while looking for a good decaf espresso and this is the best I have found. My favorite espresso is the Malabar Supreme but I could not keep drinking regular espresso (I needed to find a decaf too) and Malabar espresso do not have a decaf so I needed to find a decaf espresso with a different company and this is it! It is smooth tasting, rich and has a wonderful after taste. Would definitely recommend this as a good decaf espresso choice.

  • SMOOTH TASTING AND GOOD FOR AN ESPRESSO BEGINNER

    I am new to the world of home espresso, but I have pulled some of my very best shots so far with this Decaf. Smooth and easy to drink alone. Also very good in milk-based drinks. It is truly decaf, as I was able to fall asleep within an hour or two of serving this after dinner (something I'm always worried about it I drink a 'decaf' product late in the day!). I would recommend to friends.

    Belle is my favorite, but when decaf is called for, this is the one I turn to. My wife thinks it is just as good as Belle.
    I have also been very pleased with this one.

    Excellent crema and decent mouth feel, both of which can be a challenge with some decaff espressos. I generally do not drink deca but this one is very good for guests. The straight shots are not quite up to my regular go to coffees, Klatch Bella Espresso and Supreme Bean Bella Luna, but particularly in a milk drink this decaff works very well, and that is what i invariably prepare for guest.

    Am I the only one who finds it much more challenging to dial in dose and grind for a decaff coffee? I would give it 5 stars, but I just don't think it holds up against my favorite caffeinated espressos. Perhaps that is unfair.

    Tastes great for a decaf. You can mix with Klatch's Belle Espresso for a morning shot that won't make you bounce off the walls :)
