Saeco Via Venezia Espresso Machine with its art-deco style is a durable, high performance machine. Its traditional pump, in combination with a patented pressurized brew filter, makes amazing espresso with complete ease. The skills of an expert barista aren’t needed to brew an excellent tasting espresso topped with great crema. Via Venezia‘s large, transparent water tank can be filled through an opening in the cup warming surface, or by removing and filling at the faucet. The drip tray also removes for easy emptying and cleaning.

    These are great machines for the money and can produce wonderful espresso at home. They were for many years sold at Starbucks under the barista label. Like another reviewer noted they come with a pressurized portafilter so you do not need a great grinder at first to use it, however to get the best out of the machine you will at some point want to get something like a Baratza Preciso to coax all you can from this little machine!

    This is a very solid espresso machine capable of delivering great results! Make sure to have a quality burr grinder and buy the non-pressurized portafilter for better espresso result.

    This is the same machine that was sold as the Starbucks Barista - it is a nice machine to learn on - easy on the wallet too - looks like it should cost more when seen up close.
