When you grind it, aromatic torrents are unleashed that last until the last bit of crema is scooped from bottom of your cup. All the way along you’ll be riffing to the harmony of lively fruit, the nut and chocolate notes, and the low acidity (hallmarks of our roasting style). Notice the clear coffee presence throughout whether you prepare it straight or with milk.

  • THE BRIGHTNESS OF THIS

The brightness of this coffee really stands out and found it very refreshing. I'm loving it as straight espresso and with milk.

  • DECENT ESPRESSO

    dpablo19 | Sun, 04/22/2012 - 16:45

Most recently, I received my beans with a touch more oil on the surface than what I was expecting. In the cup, there was decent crema, but it seemed to dissipate a bit quicker than what I was expecting. The espresso was sweet but occasionally I'd encounter distracting overly-smoky notes. This may have been a technique issue, but after going through an entire bag and a bunch of different technical approaches, I wasn't able to get a great to perfect pull.

  • SLIGHT HINTS OF FRUIT, WITH

Slight hints of fruit, with a chocolate nuttyniess that dominates. A delicious shot that does very well for espresso. Recommended.

  • BEST COFFEE

    samuellaw178 | Wed, 02/15/2012 - 08:34

I ordered this together with Black Tie decaf, and both of them are easily the best coffee I've tried on ROASTe up until this point!
Bossa has really good flavor, nuances and a great body overall! It's really forgiving and works well as single and double on my Cremina. I have found it to be really delicious ever since day 4 after I receive it. The only coffee that really made me wanna get more from ROASTe!.

  • GREAT COFFEE

    Wakeknot | Tue, 02/07/2012 - 22:19

I really liked this coffee. I found it was best after a 7 day rest or more and pulled at around 18grams of coffee and 201-202 degrees. My favorite part was the linger after you finished the shot of espresso.

  • BOSSA

    gary55 | Thu, 01/05/2012 - 18:58

Received as a gift from Roaste, I've tried the Bossa as recommended by Deep Cello and love it very much, it produced a lot of crema and with a little sweetener it had dark chocolate, some hazel nut after taste. Will recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good cup of espresso.i

  • LIKE, LIKE, LIKE

Decided to brew this in my Clever first and shared the cup with a non-geek friend. We were both impressed. The fruitiness of the Ethiopian component shines through but doesn't dominate IMO, which makes this blend a good choice for the "just coffee" crowd. I'll try pulling a shot with it next but didn't want to wait to give my enthusiastic thumbs up.

  • DELICIOUS

    intrepid510 | Sat, 10/22/2011 - 00:07

I really REALLY like this coffee. I liked it so much as an espresso that I had to try it in a Clever Dripper and I was not disappointed, it doesn't have the velvet mouth feel of black tie, however the little bit of acid with those bitter sweet chocolate is to die for. The espresso is just as delicious and I liked the suggested brewing guide for the espresso made pulling the shot easy!
